Strawberry jam is one of those spreads you have to have, its a staple in any household. Scones, paleo bread, rolls, waffles and anything really can be eaten with strawberry jam. This recipe is refined sugar free and has no other junk ingredients in. It is very easy and simple to make.
2 cups of halved strawberries
1 tsp of lemon juice
1/4 cup of honey
1 tbsp of cold water
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer on medium heat. Use a masher to mash the strawberries as they start to get soft. Stir the mixture now and again as it starts to thicken. Take off the heat when the jam is thick and let cool for ten minutes.If you find there is liquid in your jam you can strain the liquid out, but the fridge will thicken the jam up as well I found. Pour the jam mixture into a mason jar and refridgerate. Enjoy
