Teriyaki chicken is so yummy and this recipe is so quick and easy to make. My Daughter was going to soccer and we were rushing so I had to make a quick dinner. I remembered the old recipe I used for teriyaki and I just changed and added to it to make it paleo and it turned out awesome. I couldn't get enough. We had rice with it as I can tolerate rice now and again and the sauce went nicely with it. You can add any side you like, caulirice or a salad.
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 tbsp of coconut aminos
1 tsp of ground ginger
pinch of salt and pepper
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup of coconut sugar
1 tsp of honey
2 chicken breasts
Place all the ingredients in a small pot and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour the sauce into a small frying pan with the chicken and cook on low to medium heat until chicken is thoroughly cooked and no trace of pink. Serve with your favourite side. Easy meal.
