I never liked deviled eggs growing up, I thinks its because I didn't know what was in them and the name doesn't sound too appealing does it? These eggs are amazing and so delicious. Easy to make.
Mayonnaise
1 egg
1 tsp of white vinegar
1/2 tsp of honey
1 tsp of lemon
1 cup of light tasting olive oil
pinch of salt
6 eggs
1 tbsp of honey dijon mustard
1 tsp of white vinegar
pinch of paprika to sprinkle on top
pinch of pepper
Boil the six eggs for about 9 minutes. To make the mayo crack the egg in a food processor. Add the lemon, vinegar and honey and salt. Blend on low until mixed well. While the processor is on add the olive oil slowly drop by drop and then steady stream. The mayo will look thick now. Take the shells off the eggs. Slice each egg in half. Spoon the yolk out of each egg and place in a bowl. Mix the yolk with dijon mustard, vinegar and pepper. Spoon the mixture into each half off the eggs and sprinkle with paprika. Serve
