Yay chocolate apples, yummy. These are amazing and I am not a huge fan of chocolate but I like these. My kids definitely liked these apples and they are so easy to make with only three ingredients. This recipe made about three apples only because it was just for three of us so if you want to make more you can double it.
3 apples
3 pop sticks
1/4 cup of thick coconut milk ( not cream )
1/3 cup of chocolate chips
Place a saucepan on the stove with water in it about quarter of the way up and place a heat proof bowl on top. Place the chocolate chips and milk in the bowl. Stir it so that its is combined and melts. Take the apple stalks out. Poke the pop sticks through the end that the stalk was. Push the stick through but not all the way through the other side. Take the chocolate off the heat. Dip the apple in the chocolate and swirl it so that half the apple is covered. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Do the same for all the apples and then place in the fridge over night. Peel them off the paper when they are ready to eat and enjoy.
