I used to make a version of this mayo dip when we ate sweet potato fries and my Husband absolutely loves it and my Father in law loved it too, so I thought maybe I could make my own mayonnaise and make it taste the same as the regular Heinz mayonnaise recipe. Well I did make it the same, in fact even better and my Husbands response was " this is way better than the one before" so here's my cayenne dip. If you want just mayonnaise use the mayo recipe
Mayo
1 egg
1tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp of lemon juice
3/4 cup of light tasting olive oil
1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp of cayenne pepper ( you can add another 1/2 tsp if you like it spicy)
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 tsp lemon juice
Add the egg to a food processor in the smaller bowl if your processor has one. Add the vinegar, lemon juice and honey. Start the processor on low until it becomes thick and looks like mayonnaise. Keep the processor going and slowly add drops of the olive oil. Keep slowly pouring the oil into the processor until its a steady stream and its all gone. Process for a minute after that and it should look thick like mayonnaise. Spoon the mayonnaise into a bowl and add the lemon juice, crushed garlic clove and cayenne pepper and mix well. Serve with sweet potato fries or any veggie. Enjoy
