I love burgers, love love love them in the summer time. This burger is Italian inspired and has the Italian taste to it. I added herbs and tomatoes from my garden and the taste is so fresh. I find it so easy now to not have a bun with burgers because if I put something on top then it doesn't even need a bun and is so good by itself. Enjoy your hot summer days with this delicious gorgeous burger.
1lb of grass fed ground beef
1 tsp of dijon mustard
1/2 an onion, diced
1 egg
1 tsp of fresh oregano
1 tbsp of fresh basil leaves
1 tsp of red wine vinegar but apple cider vinegar will work too.

pinch of salt and pepper
Tomato topping
3 small tomatoes, diced
2 basil leaves
1/2 tsp of Italian herbs
pinch of salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients for the burger in a bowl and mix with your hands. Roll the meat into balls to form burgers. Place them on the barbeque until thoroughly cooked. Mix the tomato ingredients together and when the burgers are cooked, top them with the tomato mixture and serve.
