Now that the weather is finally warmer up here in Ontario i thought to make Lemonade. I've been meaning to make it once the sun was out. My Daughter and I loved this fresh lemon taste with sparkling water; it was so refreshing for the hot day, i had to actually make another jug of it because it was so good.
2/3 large lemons juice
half a bottle of sparkling water
1 cup of boiling water
1/4 cup of honey
4 ice cubes
Boil the water for the honey syrup. Once it has boiled, pour the water into a bowl and add the honey. Mix well with a spoon to melt the honey. Pour the honey syrup into the blender with the ice cubes, lemon juice and sparkling water. Blend on the setting that says ice crushed. Blend on low until well combined. Pour into your juice jug. The jar in the picture is actually a straight tube glass vase that I hadn't used yet and thought it would be perfect to hold my lemonade. Add a slice of lemonade and a few more ice cubes and enjoy your refreshing lemonade.
