I am addicted to this dip!! It is delicious and so so good. Perfect dip for fruit especially apples at this time of year. The key to this dip is leaving it in the fridge over night and the next day it is beautifully thick and tasty. You have to make this dip, you just have to.
Apples sliced for dipping
1 1/2 cans of thick coconut milk ( I use Native Forest )
1 cup of coconut sugar
In a saucepan on the stove pour the milk and coconut sugar in and stir until combined. Heat on medium heat so that the caramel is simmering and slightly bubbling. Keep stirring every few minutes with a wooden spoon. Heat for 20 minutes. It should look slightly thick but if a little runny that is fine. It should have a slight thickness though. Pour into a small dish and place in the fridge over night. The next day check on the dip and you will see a thick caramel sauce perfect for sliced apples. Enjoy.
